Why Al Qaeda Supports the Emergent Church

Check out this crazy article entitled: "Why Al Qaeda Supports the Emergent Church"

I was at the Cubs game the same day as Jason Raitz

Our student ministry department went to the Cubs game last Thursday, May 10. I believe that was the same day Jason Raitz and the Willow Creek middle school gang went. From what I gather, he was just a few rows in front of us! This news doesn't deserve a post, but I'm feeling rather uninspired today. Dsc01522_2

Da Bears!

Urlacher012207_210_3

The Bears crushed the New Orleans Saints 39-14 in the NFC championship game! A win, that I might add, that no sports reporter outside of Chicago predicted. It also carried with it a significant piece of history for Bear's coach, Lovie Smith, who became the first African-American head coach to lead his team to the Super Bowl. The Bears will face the Indianapolis Colts. My brother, Dan, lives in Indy, and has adopted the Colts as his new team. It will be a fun family fued the next few weeks!

GOOD NEWS: The Bears are going to the Super Bowl
BAD NEWS: I'll be on an airplane for the entire Super Bowl.
